The English Shepherd Club, Inc. (ESC) is a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization dedicated to the support, preservation, and responsible promotion of the English Shepherd breed and its natural working instincts. The ESC sponsors activities including:

Bimonthly newsletter
E.S.C. website
Data gathering on health and genetic issues
Library and historical archives available to members
Breeder networking and support
Events promoting English Shepherds as working dogs
Informal gatherings of English Shepherd owners/ enthusiasts around the country.

In addition, the ESC is in the process of developing more performance venues for the breed, with particular attention to those activities which draw on the breed’s intelligence, athleticism, and working ability. The club bylaws are available for viewing online here .
