Jack's livestock experience has been gained through daily chores with the horses, goats, and poultry on the Corley's farm. He also has occasional exposure to range cattle. Jack's best quality is his all around usefulness and the ease with which he picks up new skills; he is biddable, adapts to the needs of the job, and anticipates what needs to be done. Jack helps control and move stock, trees raccoons, and is an alert guardian.
