Litter: due Feb. 9 (photos from previous litter from this pair, taken at 6 weeks)

Buster and Sassy are working dogs on the Patton's cattle ranch in eastern Washington. Buster is a laidback, easygoing dog ~~ the only remaining stud dog from Janet Vetaly's "Duke". Buster hasn't had hip x-rays due to a serious accident as a young dog (broken femur). Despite this early injury, he has been a sound, athletic dog all his life. He is getting older now, but not slowing down.

Sassy is an enthusiastic stockdog from Jenn Hughes' line in Texas; Sassy has a lot of drive and grit, and has proven to be an outstanding working dog.

This litter will be the last one from this pair, bringing together the best of black/tan, cattle working lines.

Pups will be well socialized, raised with the family and handled daily by the Patton's children.
